Portfolio

Mathematica / DMRG / Non-Hermitian / Quantum Many-Body

Non-Hermitian Persistent Current

Using Green's function formalism, we introduce a non-Hermitian Fermi-Dirac distribution and derive an analytical expression for the persistent current that relies solely on the complex spectrum.

Mathematica / Magnon / Linear Response

Majorana-Magnon Interactions

We demonstrate the uniform magnonic mode, which spreads over the entire Yu-Shiba-Rusinov chain, becomes imprinted with the parity of the ground state and, moreover, can discriminate between Majorana and trivial zero modes.

TensorFlow / Quantum Machine Learning

Quantum Capsule Networks

We adopted the capsule network architecture into the field of quantum machine learning, which demonstrates a remarkable classification accuracy, showcases an exponential quantum speedup and paves a way to explore explainable quantum AI.

Julia / Quantum Computing / Machine Learning

Quantum Neuroevolution

We introduced a Markovian quantum neuroevolution algorithm (MQNE) that autonomously finds near-optimal quantum neural networks for different machine-learning tasks.

Mathematica / Condensed Matter / Majorana

Spin Josephson junctions

We found that inhomogeneous quantum spin chains support spin supercurrents, that enhance the entanglement between spins, and can be detected using dispersive techniques.

Python / High-Energy Astrophysics

Disc–jet couplings

We proposed a magnetized, radiatively efficient thin accretion disc model (M-thin) to scrutinize the disc–jet couplings, and further explain the radio/X-ray correlations in the black hole/neutron star X-ray binary.

Photography / Astronomy / Telescope

Solar Eclipse in Xiamen

An annular solar eclipse occurred on June 21, 2020. An airplane happened to be captured in my lens at 2:49 PM. This video was shot by iPhone XS Max via Sky-Watcher EQ3D in my avatar, without any Photoshop. This must be the luckiest day of my life!
